A favorite campground of Putnam County, Oconee Springs Park is a family oriented campground with campsites that face the water. Campsites include water, electric, and cable and can be reserved here. The park also has a beach area, lakeside waterpark, a camp store, a playground, volleyball area, pedal boats, kayaks and paddle boards. You will definitely not run out of things to do at this one-of-a-kind park.
Crooked Creek Marina offers 10 RV sites, 8 primitive sites and 6 tent sites, accommodating a variety of camping interests. Crooked Creek Marina has a full restaurant on site and a community fire ring, making it a great campsite to meet new friends and make memories. The location also includes restrooms, a picnic pavilion, and a store.
If you’re an RV camper, look no further than Jere-Shai Lakeside. With 26 RV sites, it is an ideal spot, especially in the busy summer months. Jere-Shai Lakeside also offers tent camping, boat and jet ski rentals, boat storage, a shower house and a laundry facility.
Lastly, Lake Sinclair Recreation Area operates on a first come-first serve basis and is a great location for those who enjoy hiking, fishing, swimming, and picnicking as it is a bit more secluded. The site offers 33 tent camping sites and has 5 RV sites.

BOAT RAMPS
There are multiple public boat ramps along Lake Sinclair, granting access to various points of the lake. Located on the east side of the lake, Crooked Creek Marina includes a boat ramp with on-site parking and a launching fee of $10. This boat ramp is located at 208 Crooked Creek Dr. Also along the east side of Lake Sinclair is Oconee Springs Park. Oconee Springs Park offers ample parking alongside their boat ramp, as well as a host of other activities if you’re traveling with your family.
If you’re looking for a boat ramp on the northwest side of Lake Sinclair, try out Twin Bridges Landing. Twin Bridges Landing has two launch ramps, each with a $5 launch fee. Nearby, Lake Sinclair Recreation, located at 100 Putnam Beach Rd. is a great location to fish for crappie, catfish, largemouth bass, hybrids and stripers. This location features a concrete boat ramp with parking adjacent to the ramp for boat trailers with a $5 day use fee per vehicle.

Located on Carrs Station Road and on a quiet cove on the Island Creek branch of Lake Sinclair, Cosby’s Landing includes a fishing pier that is easily accessible and great to fish off of. There is a $3 fee to park at this site. Managed by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Dennis Station has two large parking lots and multiple docks to fish from. Dennis Station is located at 100-120 Bagley Lane. The fishing piers are equipped with fish attractor lights to improve night fishing opportunities for anglers. With shoreline fishing, multiple docks, fish attractors and a parking area, T.D. Cheek Fishing Pier is a great place to cast a line. T.D. Cheek Fishing Pier is located at 1099 Milledgeville Rd.

Twin Bridges Landing offers a fully stocked convenience store with live bait and tackle, snacks and drinks. Before you jet off, fill up on gas at the dock. If you find yourself on the opposite side of Lake Sinclair, Crooked Creek Marina sells fishing supplies and lake gear. You will also have the opportunity to fuel up your boat at this location.
