My name is Catherine Williamson and I am an Abstract and Mixed Media painter. I am deeply in love with color. Therefore, my business is named Catherine’s Colors.
Being an artist really is an exploration not only of the outside world but of the world inside me. It’s an excavation of myself. So, when I share my art with you it is not just something I painted. It is my thoughts, attitudes, desires, joys, convictions. It is a personal offering.
My Mixed Media work is mostly girls and sometimes quirky sayings. They are my heart and soul poured out on the canvas as faces, words, colors, designs. My Girls are a compilation of the people I’ve met or known as friends. They have become a part of me. I hope they will become a part of you, too!
