I always knew I wanted to paint. In college after realizing an art degree wasn’t practica, I became a teacher  Although I always crafted, it wasn’t until retirement that I was able to focus on my dreams. I took my first acrylic in 2010. Since I have learned to paint with oils and have recently begun to paint with watercolors. It brings me joy and peace to pick up a brush and I do it often.
