The Meat Locker killed it with a huge pan of babybacks to feed our Putnam County Varsity Baseball team between innings of a double header. The ribs were a treat for the kids and the awesome service was much appreciated! Highly recommend using them to cater or feed a group!

Best meat there is around . Steaks, and local chicken were phenomenal. The take an bake dishes are the winner , nothing isn't completely amazing. Each dish is the best version of that ive ever had in my life. Praise to the chef. Wow. Will you ship ? Im the 🤠 that comes in daily when in town 😆

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Don’t be fooled by the name—The Meat Locker is so much more than a butcher shop! This is truly a one-stop general store that caters to everyone: permanent residents, part-timers, and vacationers alike. They have everything: fresh fruits and vegetables, seafood, chicken, pork, beef, plus tons of locally sourced items that make it extra special. The homemade breads are out of this world, the cakes are delicious, and their pimento cheese is 100x better than anything store-bought. I also can’t get enough of the cheese straws and the cinnamon sugar pecans—they’re addictive! It’s a bakery, butcher, NY-style deli, gift shop, beer and wine store, and so much more all rolled into one. Everyone who works here is incredibly friendly and welcoming. I absolutely love this place and am so happy to have it nearby. Highly recommend!

A HUGE thank you to the TEAM at the Meat Locker for taking care of us this weekend. We had a large crowd of friends over to our lake house and forgot to bring hamburgers from our home. We called the Meat Locker on the morning of July 3rd and requested 18 burgers and needed them within an hour. We knew this was an unfair request given the holiday weekend crowd and the limited time frame to accommodate our order. However, they did not hesitate with saying YES and had our order ready when we arrived. They were some of the best burgers we have ever had and the fact they accommodated us with a smile made them even better. If you haven't been to the Meat Locker, you need to plan a visit. They are great people and the meat is Fantastic!!
